• Metadata Scan Results: The App collects metadata from your device, including but not limited to media file information, installed apps, browser usage, general file data, device specifications, and location (if granted).

• App Usage Behavior: We may log basic app interactions (such as scan times or feature usage) for troubleshooting and improvement purposes.

• No Personal Login Required: The App does not require account creation or sign-in. All scans are initiated manually by the user.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To display metadata in a way that empowers users to understand and manage their data

• To generate downloadable .json logs for personal use, ethical resale, or external review

• To improve app performance and provide user transparency

• If enabled in future versions, to facilitate secure upload of metadata to a data lake for opt-in monetization

3. Data Storage and Security

• All scan data is stored locally on your device by default

• Optional exports (e.g. .json files) are controlled solely by the user

• Security practices include SHA-256 file integrity verification and ProGuard app obfuscation

• We do not sell your data automatically or without consent

• You control what metadata is scanned and when

• Some scans require manual permission approval in system settings

• No data is uploaded without your consent

• If the data is monetized through opt-in upload, you retain ownership and may be eligible for a share of the resale
